Cannabis produces a resin, the psychotropic effects of which are known since the High Antiquity. It induces euphoria, a feeling of pleasant dreaminess. Nevertheless, psychiatric disturbances such as psychomotor deficiency states or acute oniroïd states were described in heavy users countries.
