Teamwork approach to strategy keeps CEOs in tune with players
Abstract
Hospital administrators will learn quickly--or by trial and error--what approach works best for developing and implementing a strategic program or plan in their institutions. But a participatory process that utilizes key physicians, board members and managers throughout will go a long way in streamlining the decision-making process. The authors describe the steps of such an approach.
