A capital planning model for health care organizations
Abstract
Limited capital funds in health care organizations have lead to aggressive capital acquisition campaigns. This article presents a model for a systematic, comprehensive capital planning process. The model, based on a review of the literature on capital budgeting, includes detailed recommendations on how to structure an effective capital planning process.
