Abstract

We describe a patient with HIV-1 infection and disseminated tuberculosis complicated with intestinal localization. The authors describe the clinical and radiological findings and the histological and microbiological diagnosis corroboration of the intestinal biopsy. The incidence of tuberculosis has been increasing during the last decade. The resurgence of tuberculosis, secondary to AIDS pandemic, mandates that the clinician be aware of the wide spectrum of presentation of intestinal tuberculosis.
