Abstract

The incidence and prevalence of chronic conditions in children are increasing along with a concomitant rise in the number of psychological problems they experience. When psychological comorbidity exists, the child is at greater risk for numerous problems. This article will define psychological comorbidity and discuss its incidence, presentation, associated factors, and interventions.
