Anaesthesia for portocaval bypass in patients with metabolic diseases
Abstract
The biochemical lesions of the glycogen storage diseases and of familial hyperlipidaemia are discussed and the anaesthetic management of patients with these conditions, for the procedure of portocaval bypass, is described.
