Community resources and assistive devices for people with arthritis

Abstract

Helping patients obtain support from outside sources--both community resources and assistive technologies--can be a very rewarding part of the practice of therapy. During rehabilitation, patients with chronic diseases, in particular, need to develop self-management skills that will help them improve their quality of life.
