Abstract
State of the study of associative nitrogen-fixing microorganisms has been evaluated. The paper also deals with the problem of spatial and functional interrelations of diasotrophs with the higher plants, formation peculiarities of nitrogen-fixing associations under inoculation of annual and perennial plants.
