[The ultrastructural immunomorphology of antibody synthesis]
Abstract
Antibody genesis in the lymphoid cells of C3HA mice was studied using horse radish peroxidase as an antigen. The zones of synthesis and concentration of antibodies within the immune competent cells were primarily the perinuclear space and the tubules of the granular endoplasmic reticulum. Less activity of the reaction was exhibited by the lamellar component of the Golgi apparatus and on the polyribosomes.
