Abstract

AIDS: A proposal for a joint U.S./Chinese San Francisco-based research collaboration on traditional Chinese medicine is getting increased professional and community support. Such cooperation is seen as important to AIDS research and treatment. Chinese medicine is largely unknown in the United States. White House support is also being sought to establish a channel of cooperation between the nations.
