Plants used as abortifacients in the Sangmelima region of Southern Cameroon
Abstract
Twenty species from 16 plant families used to induce abortion in the Sangmelima region (South Province of Cameroon) are reported with local names, modes of uses and their side effects, if known, with a discussion on pharmacological effect based on published experimental literature.
