Looking for a needle in a haystack: searching the Internet for quality resources
Abstract
The Internet has expanded the range, quantity and quality of materials available to the nurse researcher. However, accessing the material stored there can be difficult and frustrating because of the variable nature of the resources available, and the challenge in locating them. This paper explores some of the issues involved in searching the Internet for quality nursing resources. It provides site addresses, search pointers and a glossary of terms used in the paper, to make the paper accessible and searching the Internet more productive.
