Abstract

Background: The eosinophilic ulcer is a lesion of the oral mucosa, that has been infrequently described in the literature. This is a benign and self-limiting lesion of unknown origin.

Discussion: Recurrent trauma is clearly involved in the pathogenesis of this entity.
