Abstract

Objective: To study the chemical constituents in the aerial part of Thalictrum atriplex.

Method: Chromatography and spectral analysis were used to isolate and elucidate the constituents.

Result: Six compounds were isolated from the aerial part of Thalictrum atriplex, and elucidated as protocatechuic acid, caffeic acid, p-coumaric acid, kaempferol, beta-sitosterol and N-methylcorydaldine.

Conclusion: They are all isolated from the plant for the first time.
