Abstract

Surgical exploration of the upper eyelid was undertaken in two patients who developed blepharoptosis after cataract extraction. Disinsertion of the aponeurosis of the levator palpebrae superioris muscle from its epitarsal attachments was discovered and repaired in each patient to correct the blepharoptosis.
