DHHS's final rule on the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Program
Abstract
All facilities that participate in the Medicare and Medicaid programs must comply with the Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Program as a condition of participation. Nurse executives need to be familiar with the requirements of this program in order to be able to participate in ensuring the compliance of the facilities with which they work.
