Developing a team approach to complex aesthetics: treatment considerations

Abstract

Contemporary restorative procedures often require the incorporation of a multidisciplinary treatment approach in order to ensure that the proper clinical parameters are addressed. Incorporation of a team approach that integrates various periodontal and restorative considerations is paramount to successful treatment in complex situations. This article describes the use of a team approach for predictable treatment of a complex case presentation. Treatment planning, implant placement, periodontal maintenance, and restorative considerations are also introduced.
