[Multidetector CT and MRI of malignant liver tumors]
Abstract
This chapter summarizes technical aspects of multidetector row helical CT and MR imaging of malignant liver tumors. Respective role of these examinations is shown in relation to the type of the tumors (hepatocellular carcinoma or liver metastases) and to the indications of imaging: diagnosis or pretreatment staging.
