Transmylohyoid oroendotracheal intubation: a novel method
Abstract
Anesthetic management of patients with multiple trauma of the face or those undergoing multiple facial osteotomies is problematic perioperatively, because anesthetists and surgeons fight for the same space. A novel method is demonstrated with use of a nylon flexometallic tube carried across the mylohyoid muscle (floor of the mouth).
