Chronic painless pancreatitis

Chronic painless pancreatitis

S J GOULSTON et al. Gut. 1962 Sep.

Abstract

This paper describes four patients whose chief symptoms were steatorrhoea and loss of weight. Despite the absence of a history of abdominal pain investigations showed that these patients had chronic pancreatitis, which responded to medical treatment. The pathological findings in two of these cases and in six which came to necropsy are reported.
