Abstract

Results: The most frequent complications reported in the literature are associated with angiography procedure, serious complications are extremely infrequent.

Conclusion: The embolization of fibroids is a safe angiographic intervention. Nevertheless, the interventional radiologist must be aware of the common risks and complication and the strategies to avoid them.
