[Ultrastructural localization of neurohypophyseal hormones and their carrier proteins by the "triple bridge" immunoenzymatic technique]
Abstract
High specific antibodies have permitted the ultrastructural localization of vasopressin, ocytocin and neurophysins 1 and 2. Hormones and carrier proteins are detected in neurosecretory granules of the hypothalamic and neurohypophyseal fibres and so at the granular and extra-granular level of supra-optic pericaryons.
