Abstract

This case report illustrates rapid and irreversible cystic change associated with disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis in an immunocompetent adult. In this patient, cystic lesions persisted after successful treatment of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and resulted in spontaneous pneumothorax with persistent air leak.
