Naval Party 1036: its role in the Gulf Conflict
Abstract
With the escalation of the Gulf Conflict in December 1990, there was a greater requirement for medics to support the land forces. In war, BMH Hannover becomes 32 Field Hospital RAMC, a 200 bed third line medical facility. This account describes the contribution made by Naval Party 1036 when it augmented 32 Field Hospital in Saudi Arabia in early 1991 during Operation Granby.
