Abstract

Megakaryocyte development is a complex cell developmental process, and megakaryocytic cell lines offer an alternative approach and provide a useful tool in order to better understand megakaryocytopoiesis. This review attempts to consolidate recent observations made on megakaryocytic cell lines.
