Abstract

Cyclosporin A (CyA)* has been shown to be a cytostatic drug with apparent specificity for the immune system. At clinical trials, an analysis of the patients showed marked immunosuppressive potency of CyA. This selective anti-T cell agent is described in detail, with studies showing the immunological effects of graft survival in renal transplant patients.
