Abstract

A case of a hemoperitoneum caused by the rupture of a granulosa cell tumor in a 9-month-old Holstein heifer is reported. Management of hemorrhagic shock in cattle is discussed.

Résumé — Hémopéritoine suite à la rupture d’une tumeur des cellules de la granulosa chez une génisse Holstein. Un cas d’hémopéritoine suite à la rupture d’une tumeur des cellules de la granulosa chez une génisse Holstein âgée de neuf mois est décrit. L’approche thérapeutique du choc hémorragique chez le bovin est révisée.
