Nurse competence in aging overview
Abstract
This article provides an overview of the Nurse Competence in Aging (NCA) project. Specifically, it reviews demographics, articulates the need to increase the gerontology presence within specialty nursing, and analyzes the way in which NCA is addressing that need in partnership with specialty associations.
