Uncovering the complexities of Kaposi's sarcoma through genome-wide expression analysis
Abstract
Gene-expression profiling of endothelial cells infected with Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus has led to a greater understanding of the histogenesis of Kaposi's sarcoma and cellular reprogramming events that occur as a result of viral infection and that may play important roles in viral pathogenesis.
