Abstract

EMS personnel face a continuing challenge. Obese patients are prone to medical conditions exacerbated by their weight. Nevertheless, they deserve skilled and compassionate care. Don't exceed your equipment's weight capacity, appoint a safety officer and maintain adequate staffing.
