Abstract

The paper contains modern data on the potentialities of determining the albumin parameters in clinical oncology. Finding of the total albumin concentration, effective albumin concentration, albumin binding reserve and toxicity index by using the K-35 fluorescence probe can be useful in diagnosing cancer, choosing a treatment scheme and in the course of treatment. The albumin parameters can be used, primarily, on a wide-scale basis in postoperative intensive care.
