WHO global report on malaria indicates progress on prevention
Abstract
On May, 3, the World Health Organization and the United Nations Children's Fund published the World Malaria Report, which found that the burden of malaria is worst in Africa, but that prevention and treatment are reaching more people worldwide. However, the report suggests that it is too soon to say whether these findings will have an impact on illness and death from the disease.
