[Lead-induced pathomechanisms of hypertension]
Abstract
Based on the literature, the study presents lead-induced mechanisms of hypertension development. The investigations performed hitherto, demonstrate that exposure to lead causes the damage of endothelial vasodilating function as the result of free radicals increase and decrease of the organism antioxidative barrier, whereas hormonal and renal mechanisms seem to be secondary phenomenon.
