The impact of intensive neonatal care on the frequency of mental and motor handicap
Abstract
Recent outcome data on infants who were born extremely premature and who required extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) are reviewed with particular reference to the design of follow-up studies. It is suggested that outcome data are an important medical audit measure.
