Citrus peel oil extracts as mosquito larvae insecticides

G L Mwaiko. East Afr Med J. 1992 Apr.

Abstract

Susceptibility tests were carried out in Culex quinquefasciatus larvae using peel oil extracts of bitter orange (Citrus aurantium), orange (Citrus sinensis) and lemon (Citrus limon). Larvae mortalities were observed indicating that the extracts may contain potentially useful insecticides.
