Abstract
We report on 476 operations for primary, bilateral and recurrent inguinal and femoral herniae. The technique of the peritoneal sac reinforcement with a Marlex prosthesis has been used for all of them. Out of 476, 143 were recurrent or multi-recurrent herniae. Morbidity and results are analysed.
