Overview and principles of in-situ hybridization
Abstract
In-situ hybridization is a technique that allows precise automated localization of DNA or RNA sequences in tissue preparations. The principles and kinetics of in-situ hybridization are presented. The technical considerations in various protocols used in in-situ hybridization are also reviewed.
