Reorganizing medical education
Abstract
The education of doctors has not kept up with changes in medicine, medical technology and the organization of health services. Training at undergraduate and postgraduate level can be rigid and is at times inappropriate. Continuing medical education needs expansion. A review of the work and lifestyle of junior hospital doctors is needed.
