Abstract

Objective: Review of contemporary knowledge of the management of the acute life threatening peripartal hemorrhage and incorporatening f rVIIa in to the treatment design.

Type of the study: Review.

Setting: Department of OB/GYN 2nd Medical Faculty Charles Uni Prague and Teaching Hospital Motol.

Methods: Meta-analysis of the medical databases articles.

Conclusions: The article forms the basssis for designing the concise guidelines.
