Abstract
Der Schimmelpilz Aspergillus fumigatus produziert einen potenten Angiogenesehemmstoff, das Fumagillin. Diese Substanz war einer der ersten niedermolekularen Angiogeneseinhibitoren und trug wesentlich dazu bei, diese therapeutische Strategie überhaupt erst interessant zu machen.
