Abstract

The diversity, sophistication, and range of interactions between microbes and their hosts is truly remarkable. With the advent of new technologies to study these varied connections, and a growing appreciation of their importance, this is the ideal time to launch a new journal that will archive these new findings in the field of host-microbe interactions.
