Abstract

The authors suggest a concept according to which the cytoskeleton and contractile proteins of platelets are the locomotor-contractile system playing a role of the effector apparatus of hemostatic function of these cells. Demonstrate the role of the contractile structures in leukocyte phagocytosis.
