Trigeminal neuralgia and its treatment in a 13-month-old child: a review and case report

Abstract

A case of trigeminal neuralgia (tic douloureux) presenting in a 13-month-old patient is reported. The patient was successfully treated by microvascular decompression of the trigeminal nerve. A brief review of trigeminal neuralgia precedes the case report.
