(Left panels) Double immunofluorescence staining of brain sections from wild-type and BKα knockout mice. Image shows the hippocampal field stained with mouse monoclonal anti-BKα L6/60 and anti-Kv1.4 K13/31 antibodies. Isotype-specific secondary antibodies were used to visualize bound monoclonal antibodies. Right panel shows an immunoblot performed with L6/60 on crude brain membranes from rats (RBM) and from wild-type (MBM-WT) and BKα knockout (MBM-BKα KO) mice.
