A pattern-oriented approach to chest radiographs in atypical pneumonia syndromes
Abstract
The differential diagnosis of the atypical pneumonia syndrome is facilitated by recognition of the chest radiographic pattern. Both infectious and noninfectious entities should be considered: clinical criteria may be used to exclude unlikely diseases and to construct an ordered list of possible causes.
