Abstract

Simultaneous cataract extraction and anti-glaucoma operation was performed in 11 patients (16 eyes) who suffered uveitis. In all the cases extracapsular extraction and double trabeculectomy were performed according to personal modifications. The cataract was extracted by extracapsular method and subsequently the trabeculectomy was executed at 11 and 1 o'clock. Normalization of the IOP was attained in 13 eyes, 3 eyes needed application of Timolol. The results encourage to further use of this procedure.
