Identifying, reporting and preventing elder abuse in the practice setting
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to raise awareness of elder abuse as an issue and its changing policy and legislative context. It highlights nurses' roles and responsibilities, enabling the reader to explore the complexities that surround elder abuse as a phenomenon and recognise effective strategies for identifying, reporting and preventing elder abuse in the practice setting.
