Spectrophotometric determination of antimony with 3,5,7,4'-tetrahydroxyflavone (kaempferol)
Abstract
A selective spectrophotometric method is described for determination of antimony with kaempferol. Microgram amounts of antimony can be determined by measurements at 420 run in 0.1M hydrochloric acid. The molar absorptivity is 1.09 x 10(4) at 420 nm and the optimum range for accurate determination is 1.9-7.8 ppm of antimony.
