Abstract

The author has developed an original method of exploration of the salivary glands: ultrafine fibroscopy. After briefly describing the equipment, the method and the indications, he demonstrates how it is now possible to extract stones via the natural passages using a miniaturized basket catheter, avoiding the need for more extensive surgery.
