Bar coding. An effective productivity concept
Abstract
Bar coding is becoming a major contributor to the information revolution taking place in the health-care industry. Besides improving nursing productivity, bar coding can improve the quality of documentation and enhance the manner in which staffing requirements are identified and patient classification information gathered.
